Chogye Jamchen Membership

Buddhist centers like Chogye Jamchen Buddhist Centre are entirely funded by donations, membership fees, and the funds raised during events they present. Annual running costs to provide a venue for these events are significant, and without financial contributions by members they could not function or present ongoing events and host teachings. In HE Zimwock Rinpoche's words, membership is for "the spread of health and wellness in our community".

To become a Jamchen Member please download the Jamchen Membership Form, fill in your details and post it snail mail to Jamchen Buddhist Centre, or hand it in directly at the next event you are attending.

Single (Concession Card Holders) $60

Membership provides

  • a significant discount on the fees for various events, such as the weekly and monthly dharma teachings, meditation classes, seminars, and retreats. 
  • access to our resident teacher, which allows for regular support and guidance in your personal practice program while under his guidance.
  • Invitations for special events are also provided to members.
  • Access to the Library with borrowing privileges for textbooks, dharma video and audio teachings. It also provides a news letter,  email  for event updates,  and a mailing list for staying informed on the annual program.
